Website accessibility statement for InnovationAction.org
This website is run by Global Disability Innovation Hub. We are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. The accessibility standard that we aim to meet on this website is set out in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone. The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Innovation Action website.
We have taken steps to evaluate how accessible it is and, where feasible, have corrected things which may make some of the content inaccessible to some people. However, it is not fully accessible. The points where it does and doesn’t comply with accessibility standards are set out below. We have also explained below why we have not corrected some non-compliant content. We also give details of how to contact us about any content that you are having difficulty accessing, and who to contact if you aren’t satisfied with our response.
How did we evaluate the accessibility of this website?
An accessibility audit was carried out on this website between 7th May and 21st May 2021 by a web accessibility agency, Blazie, to evaluate how well the website complied with our target standard. They tested 11 pages which represent all the different templates and functionality that we use on the site. They tested the website for accessibility on both desktop and mobile devices.
Does this website comply with accessibility standards?
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard.
Will we correct any points of non-compliance?
We have addressed all the points of non-compliance that it is feasible for us to address.
Remaining points of non-compliance that we can’t address
We have listed the non-compliances below, together with the reason we have not been able to correct them.

Not all the embedded YouTube videos have captions. The videos are owned by a third party. We have contacted them to ask them to turn on captions. Where there are no captions, we have provided a transcript of the video.
