Resilient health systems as a Global Response to COVID-19.
This video does not have subtitles. Here is the transcript of the narration:
As the world began to grapple with COVID-19, we set out to build a technology and innovation pipeline to aid a global response. Now, we see signals of something more profound. We believe the COVID pandemic has uncovered rare ingenuity and showed us how longer term resilience might be possible, as demonstrated by innovators around the world. We believe in a future where innovative technologies strengthen effective, equitable, and resilient health systems globally, to prepare for, respond to, and bounce back from shocks. Wheels for Life uses a telehealth model to connect pregnant women with consultation services and emergency transport, a need revealed during COVID-19. mHealth platform Pensa ensures all Mozambicans have access to pertinent health information and services, giving access to the ownership of their care. We are also building a future where healthcare systems provide continuity of care, powered by data at all times. Living Goods helps health workers by linking community data to national health information systems. We see a future where mindsets and behaviours by all those using and contributing to health systems are updated to meet these bold visions by bold innovators. What do you see? We can't do this alone, but we can work towards it together.
